Me, me!!!

Not an outdoor person.. prefer to get buried beneath books, music and movies... has these strange philosophies about life that might puzzle you. At the same time, likes to live life. Loves simple people, especially those who veil their formidable knowledge behind humility (The poems here don't reflect my mind or anyone else's. Maybe, just a patch of what various people go through.)

The mask

I get drenched in the rain to hide my tears.

Therefore, you see a rain lover and not the storm in my eyes.

I warp my trembling lips into a perfect smile.

So, goes unnoticed the anguish that I hide in my heart.

And all that you see is the mask I wear to fake a different identity.

You take the mask to be me, albeit, a different me.

  1. mask you fake for a namesake,
the name that you tag your mask for...
the face that makes your proud often
is a piece of flesh hung over bones..
