I took sprightly steps up the path of life.
A small turn and I left a dream behind.
Hurried steps and I took a veering path.
Let go off a burning desire behind.
A strong gust of wind blurred the view of the road ahead.
To steer through, I paced ahead, leaving a broken heart behind.
Along came another smiling face, as hasty as I was.
We darted across the endless terrain, leaving each other behind.
He set on another path, unconnected to mine and mine hardly visible to him.
We didn’t bid goodbye in all the chaos, just left sweet memories behind.
Now, I recount the dream, the desire, the heart and the memories.
Only to realise there was something more than a few trails, I thought, I left behind.
It resembles a mirage. On a canvas so large. They call it life. That illusion so rife. Never mind its name. They say it is all in a game. Seems so unbelievably eternal. But it is only the end that is real.
Me, me!!!

- Not an outdoor person.. prefer to get buried beneath books, music and movies... has these strange philosophies about life that might puzzle you. At the same time, likes to live life. Loves simple people, especially those who veil their formidable knowledge behind humility (The poems here don't reflect my mind or anyone else's. Maybe, just a patch of what various people go through.)
